Review: The Outsiders is an amazing story written by S.E. Hilton that portrays teen friendship and camaraderie. It takes place in Oklahoma where there are “Socs” and “Greasers” – the Socs drive around in Camaros and bully the Greasers for fun. The Greasers have long, slicked-back hair and are unpopular at school.
This incredible classic has an unbeatable plot and well-made characters with unique names like Sodapop and Ponyboy. I loved reading about their friendship, and I know you will too. One of the best things about this book is how it balances realistic issues with humor and happiness.
All in all, this story was very interesting and fun to read. I enjoyed it, and I bet you will too!
