Review: This tale tells the story of Harvey Swick, a 10 year old who is bored with his life. One night, a mysterious person named Rictus flies into his house and asks him if he would like to go to a place named the Holiday House. He says the Holiday House is an incredible place where the nights and days are full of wonder and you will have anything you want… Harvey says yes and Rictus whisks Harvey off to the house. The house seems to be perfect but as the initial excitement of the house subsides, Harvey becomes curious and finds a secret about the house, a very dark secret…

The Thief of Always is a fantasy novel that will keep you interested for the entire book. The characters are relatable and intriguing with large personalities and interesting stories. The plot is great with lots of twists and no plot holes. One of the unique things about this book is the spooky and weird drawing at the start of each chapter. This story will remind you of a Grims fairy tale - the kind that scares you to the bone. The Thief of Always is an awesome book that is definitely worth reading.
